On May 23 the LPDP students attended their orientation. The orientation was opened by a speech from Brother Kornkawee Yindeevet After this, Miss Walailak Potawanich introduced the LPDP English program, Miss Jutatip Onthong introduced the LPDP Chinese program, and Miss Prasuda Chanman introduced the LPDP Japanese program. The students were then invited to join in on some ice-breaking activities, which included dancing. After the icebreaker, the students broke into three groups and spent time at three activity stations. These stations were English, Chinese, and Japanese themed. The Chinese station had students creating traditional Chinese masks. The English station had students playing the game Hotseat. The Japanese station had students attempting origami. The aim of this afternoon was to allow the students to settle into the LPDP program and encourage them to make new friends while learning new skills.
